Face-to-Face Volunteers in Peterborough

We are looking for enthusiastic, empathetic and confident volunteers from around the Peterborough area to support socially isolated, medically vulnerable and shielded individuals with a variety of face-to-face activities. Candidates must have a warm and friendly attitude, and a empathetic listening ear. 

  • Befriending individuals through our Buddy-Up Project, which can include visits to their local cafe or meeting them in their home. Click here for more details and how to apply.

Grant Writer Volunteer

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and outgoing individual with a demonstrable record of consistent grant writing success and experience managing the grant development and proposal process. The Grant Writer Volunteer will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities and managing the grant development and proposal process.


Candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a professional and resourceful attitude, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a desire to take initiative and manage numerous successful projects simultaneously.

Communications and Marketing Volunteer



We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled volunteer with an interest in social care, charity communications, marketing, and a creative flair to help us deliver effective communications and marketing activities to reach our various audiences.


Candidates must have excellent written communication skills, creative writing and design abilities, good organisational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of using social media (particularly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), as well as an enthusiasm for communications and marketing, and willingness to learn is essential.
